The Postal Service - Give Up
Best Albums of the Decade: #21.
This is an album that I can always go back to and never feels old. If it was just an album of indietronica (a much under-utilised genre title in my opinion) songs, the fact that it was made by Ben Gibbard & Jimmy Tamborello trading cassettes over the, ahem, postal system would just be a novelty. But the songwriting remains strong on repeated listens and the tunes stay humming around my head for days.
