Playing in a small venue just off the Ramblas in Barcelona for Primavera Club 2009 this weekend, Cymbals Eat Guitars didn’t exactly fulfill expectations set by this album. Influenced by Pixies and Pavement, CEG’s debut record full of epic indie rock songs is, however, still very much worth a listen.
