The Feelies - The Good Earth
A re-release of their 1986 second album, a follow-up to one of the most under-rated but most important post-punk albums of all times, Crazy Rhythms, The Good Earth arrived this year re-packaged with bonus goodies just in time for Xmas. With Peter Buck on the production desk, the sound moves away from jaggedness towards jangliness and loses a little along the way. However, it still remains worth a listen as some of the best pop music coming out of the US in the 80s.
